Erasmus Animations

From January to June 2011 I studied abroad in Viborg, Denmark. The course I studied was entitled 'Using Animation as a Learning Tool'. It involved learning how to make our own cut-out, clay and object animation films in groups and on our own. As part of the course we also spent 2 weeks in a Danish school teaching children how to make animated films. It was a great experience through which I learned a lot and hope the kids did to.

These are some of the films made by some of the children of Overlund School, Viborg. (please note the music may not work on some of them for copyright reasons). Right click on the name and choose 'open in new tab' or 'open in new window, depending on your preference.

The Great Catch

The Walrus

The boy and the polar bear

Zoo

We Lost out Owner

The Curse

Easter Eggs

Here are the films made in groups as part of the course in Denmark (Meat and One Veg being the final film I made on my own).

Drink first, ask questions later

Tublood

Nameless

Mime

Meat and One Veg

And that's your lot, I think the kids films are great considering they were 9 or 10 years old. It's a great learning tool to use in schools and hopefully is something that will catch on over this side of the North Sea.
